diving at sea shell cove and glowing designs

Welcome to "Sea Shell Cove" This is where action figures go for an exciting vacation of scuba diving to tranquil aqua blue seas filled with magical treasures. I think I want to go to this awesome ocean! This ocean themed table was inspired by the Sea Urchin ocean themed table I created yesterday, seen here. This fun water table has orange/strawberry scent. 

 In the table are real sea shells, water, blue and green food coloring, orange and strawberry extract, plastic fish, a dolphin toy, glass gems, river rocks, and a little plastic boat... oh and action figures to go diving!  You can't forget the action figures. right?!?

We had some ping pong balls out again in orange scented water, they were a lot of fun to play with!!! Our friend Garland really enjoyed playing with the ping pong balls in water! She also had a great time playing in the bubbles created from our bubble machine.

Then we created awesome shapes and designs with glow sticks before bed! awesome fun!

We played in the backyard with the usual fun stuff.... water, shaving cream, food coloring, scrubbers, blew colored bubbles with straws, strainers, measuring cups, slotted spoons, rain gutter, spray bottles, water tables, sand box, pipe builders waterways(from lakeshore), and took a ride in our choo choo wagon!

a bubble for your trouble

How many times have you bought bubbles for your kids, and ended up feeling disappointed with them? I know I have many times. I ended up buying some gazillion brand bubbles In late 2010 and was presently surprised. I was so fed up with a lot of the other brands available at Target and Wal-Mart. To me, it seemed like they barely made bubbles and just dripped everywhere. What a pain in the rump!!  I have stopped buying other brands of bubbles since I discovered Gazillion bubbles. They really do make great bubbles. I never have the watery drippy bubble mixture getting all over my hands and arms. Thank goodness for good bubbles finally. However, it never helped me in the aspect of hating to blow bubbles for my kids for so long that I became winded. I have asthma, so blowing bubbles for several minutes really makes me run out of breath. A friend from our playgroup brought this automatic bubble machine to a park playdate one day, wow was I sold on that idea!! haha She had a different brand but I found this one that works with the Gazillion bubbles. It had a few bad reviews but we have been pleasantly happy with it so far. After reading the bad reviews I am very careful with it. I never let it get tipped back or lay it down for any reason. I have found that as long as it is kept on a level surface and only used with Gazillion brand bubbles, it works beautifully. It produces an incredible amount of bubbles. It is quite impressive actually!  See....
