I have learned a lot about Reggio Emilia and Montessori over the past few years. Light Tables are a component of Reggio Emilia inspired learning, not of Montessori learning activities but many Montessori inspired activities can be done on a Light Table!

ice ice baby
Alright stop! collaborative and listen. I went to the dollar tree and got bought some groovy ice cubes! haha ok enough of that. So, while I was at the dollar tree today, I saw somethng I had not seen since I was about 12!! Fruit and square shaped reusable ice cubes! Immediately I thought, oooh light table fun!! They indeed do make great light table toys. yay! You can sort them by color, sort them by shape, stack them, line them up, and whatever else you can come up with! I love these things, I loved them when I was a little kid! My Grandma W. used to buy them for me when I was a kid growing up in PA. Too cool! What a great dollar tree find!
