The Pencil Grip Company sent us a set of their Kwik Stix tempera paint sticks for review, and we love them! They sent us a few of their pencil grips too!
Kwik Stix are like glue sticks, but tempera paint. They dry really quickly, and can even be used on thin paper. As you can see below, we used some thin lined school paper and the picture did not bleed through. We are really impressed with them and have been using them quite often. Kwik Stix are an excellent go-to paint product for when your kids really want to paint, but there is no time to get out the supplies, and deal with the clean up afterwards. They are also great for days when you want your kids to do an independent quiet time activity.
If you give them a tray or large place mat, you will most likely have no mess.
We have not had any mess issues with Kwik Stix.
They really are a valuable item to have on hand at home for children.
They dry fast, they do not bleed through the paper, and their colors are quite vibrant as well! I will buy these again and again once we use up the ones we have now. I feel they could be great for playdates as well!
